Armor Piercing rounds?

My grandpa died recently and when we were going through his guns and ammo we found like ten ammo cases (metal millitary cases used for 20mm rounds) full of 306 armor piercing rounds. All my question is, are armor piercing rounds legal to own in Arizona or the US for that matter?
