Recoil and muzzle flash comparison of .357 Magnum and .45 ACP?

Okay, comparing full power .357 158 grain JHP ammo to 200 grain .45 ACP in terms of recoil and muzzle flash, comparing a 4-4.5 inch barrel length. I started handgun shooting with .357 Magnum and can handle the recoil and flash without it affecting me too much, would a .45 ACP be similar in recoil to full power .357 loads?
