I bred two fawn pugs and got a brindle?

I've been breeding pugs for 20 years now and have never had a brindle. I live on a ranch with only pugs so the puppy was not a mix. The puppy died due to the heating pad going out but I have pics for any skeptics. You can email me if you wanna see. Has anyone had this happen to them before?
