Can you use human suncream on a dog?

My puppy is a very pale fawn colour, and I have noticed that the bare, sensitive patch on her muzzle was very red when she came in from lying in the sun the other day. I was wondering if human suncream would be ok, or if she would just lick it off? What is different about suncream for dogs? Thanks.
